A few years ago, a fascinating trend emerged on TikTok in Spain. People would head to supermarkets at a specific time, to the fresh produce or wine section, with an upside-down pineapple in their shopping cart.

The idea? If two people wanted to strike up a conversation to get to know each other better, they both needed to have an upside-down pineapple and gently tap their shopping carts together to initiate a chat. And who knows... it could lead to another meeting or more! 😉
